Peter Engels: “Prior to the LIVE painting of Richard Branson I prepared myself by painting two large studies. This was the second one. I made the studies to feel confident when making the live portrait on stage in front of Sir Richard Branson himself and in front of the large audience of business people and press. Secondly I had to make shure I could make the portrait in two and a half hours which is stressfully fast. Especially for such a large portrait. But everything turned out great. I was very satisfied with the two studies.”
