On a classic car road trip portrait painter Peter Engels drove past George Clooney’s house in Bellagio at Lake Como (Italy) last summer. That inspired him to paint George Clooney’s portrait with his beloved red 1959 Corvette. Peter Engels started this painting during the famous Zoute Grand-Prix in Knokke (Belgium). The weather was great and he painted ‘live’ outside in the street. The large painting (100 x 200 cm) comes with the actor’s inspirational quote: “Life is better with company. Everybody needs a co-pilot.”
